Division 1, Broughton Wings went down 6-2 (12-6) at home to Deeside, losing three of the four mixed doubles and both ladies’ doubles which gave the visitors the edge. Rossett and Mold A shared the spoils4-4 (1-9). After the mixed doubles Rossett had the edge which they lost in the men’s doubles, settling for the draw. Denbigh A and Rossett put on a very sporting contest which was won6-2 (13-5) by Denbigh A.

Broughton’s narrow 5-3 (10-8) victory over Denbigh B in Division 2 earned them much needed points.

In Division 3, Mold C gained a welcome victory 5-3 (12-8) over Denbigh C, while Connah’s Quay C gained an equally welcome 5-3 (10-7) victory over Llanferres B. Buckley A had everything going their way at Mold C allowing them to run out 8-0 (16-0) winners.
